 Enter, Nigel Harrison, the conductor
This is Nigel Harrison's last concert with Northland Sinfonia and Whangarei Choral Society.
He and his wife, Caron (and Choral Society alto singer) are returning to the U.K.
He shared with the audience a little about his time spent here in Northland, not only as Conductor for the Sinfonia but also as a Cardiologist at Whangarei Base Hospital. He will be missed by many people.
Iain Tetley, Baritone soloist had a beautiful rich voice with clear dictation.
Emma Couper, the soprano soloist, sung beautifully too.
What a brilliant concert...well done everybody!
Thank you to Nigel Harrison for all his enthusiasm, energy and expertise with both the Whangarei Choral Society and Northland Sinfonia. You will be very much missed!
